upgrading packages through apt-get failed
Lately I've been running into problems updating the XBian platform. In this case it doesn't matter if I am upgrading through xbian-config or running it manually with sudo apt-get upgrade.

Well here's the log:
I am sure somebody can help :) Thanks in advance

RE: upgrading packages through apt-get failed
Terminal

insserv: Starting xvfb depends on rc.local and therefore on system facility `$all' which can not be true!
insserv: Max recursions depth 99 reached
insserv: loop involving service smbd at depth 1

seems to be the issue.

Can you deinstall xvfb temporarily

sounds like the right thing to do, however there's a similar error:

Terminal

Hmmm, wired Dodgy

are there still any xvfb related files in /etc

Terminal

cd /etc
sudo find -name "*xvfb*"

and, if there are any, please remove them

Hmmm, so seems that culprit is xvfb package, Debian is responsible for that issue Tongue
