RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
CurlyMo,
The only change I've made is to assign a button to the subtitle add-on and reconfigure some other's to other functions. If you still want, i can share my configuration files. |

Did you're remote already work ootb and did you configure it to your liking, then not. But if it enables us to support more remotes, then yes.

RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
Hi,
Re: However MJPEG isn't working yet due to a firmware issue, the Raspberry Pi company is working on this Any news on this? Where was the original reported about this posted? I have some avi movies coded with MJPEG from a canon camera which pretty much crash xbmc when played. Thanks, ===Rich |

That's this, I guess: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/2119 popcornmix (on github) Wrote:The MJPEG (mov) one is a locking issue between JPEG block used by xbmc for images, and the MJPEG codec and it will be fixed with a firmware update. Good of you to get back to me. ===R |

RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
Just a simple question. When the final official public release? Soon or still it needs its time?

RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
We will first release our last Alpha #5, then one or two beta's, and then the stable. However, no new major improvements will be done after Alpha 5, so it should be fairly quick.

RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
For the last couple of days I have been getting -
Err http://aptmirror.no-ip.org wheezy Release.gpg Unable to connect to aptmirror.no-ip.org:http: When trying to run apt-get update. Is this just because this server is unavailable? Does anyone know when it will be back up or know of a workaround? Thanks. |

RE: XBMC Frodo 12.0 Final
This will be fixed in Alpha 5. It will then know when servers are down or not and automatically adds or remove them.

I am just trying to run the update script for XBMC 12 final. XBMC has installed fine but I presume there is a firmware update also. For some reason when streaming videos, sometimes it will just stop the video randomly and go back to the XBMC menu. It also sometimes loses connection with the server, this has never happened before. I am hoping once the update works, this may be fixed? Should I just keep on trying until the server is back up? Thanks for your help, it is much appreciated! |
