Yeah, 2A power supply is ok
I don't have USB hub in use, all my devices can be powered with max_usb_current=1 in /boot/config.txt |

It would seem because the T4U is USB 3.0 it may require more power than 1 amp, Looks like some of the usb 3.0 hubs have 3.6 amps per port, which should be more than enough to power the adapter. Also when they finally do release a pi with USB 3.0 I'll be ready to buy it.
