how to update a repository?
is there a way to update the repo that kodi/xbian looks to for updates to the add-on?
...and can it be done in kodi/xbian rather than command line?

I see on github that the main dev (Stefano) of the Netflix add-on that seems most popular has updated his repository (CastagnaIT) from v1.0.0 to v1.0.1 and the add-on to v1.2.0 (from v1.1.0...I'm still on v1.0.0).

Help please?

You add third party repos inside Kodi.

RE: how to update a repository?
Should go automatically if you have your addons installed via third party repository

In my case I can update Netflix addon w/o any problems. But in my experience, it usually takes some time until a new version comes to be available for update via repository.

Yes, that is the case here, a short delay. Xbian caught the update overnight.
My patience for delays that seem inexplicable is very short in these days of social distancing and self isolation and mandatory quarantine.
