Help a noob with CEC
Hi
I'm surprised there is no "CEC setup for beginners " thread pinned. Anyways, I google CEC and now I know what it is. From reading other posts I found out I need to configure my Rpi through SSH. This post should be enough for me on the subject. http://forum.xbian.org/thread-6.html?highlight=cec I have Xbian V1.04 and my tv is a Lg 19L-G38-UA. ... I guess I download drivers ?..... I'm stuck there. Thanks |

Re: Help a noob with CEC
sorry but I'm not sure what you trying to say here
CEC is usually working out of box so no need to touch anything if no than there are so many aspects what may affect the functionality so it is never easy to give straight answer how to fix if even possible. So every reported issue needs individual approach. So maybe you try to explain a bit better what is your issue than we may try to help you -thx- ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

RE: Help a noob with CEC
LG calls CEC SimpLink, and you need to enable it before you can use it: http://www.ehow.com/how_8474066_use-simplink-lg-tv.html
