I've been using this app and find it to be quite good. It works, for starters, unlike the official remote app!

The official remote app works also, but you have to install the non-playstore version

Where do you get the non-playstore version from? FYI, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S3.

EDIT: the link at the Xbmc wiki also leads to the Play Store / Google code version....
