mysqldb with 2 xbian clients
hi!
i'm running a mysql server on a ubuntu machine and migrated the whole video db from one xbian client to this db (databasename "xbmc75"). now i'm trying to connect with a new xbian client (different raspberry pi) to this database, 'cause syncing is fun i also put all the xml files on a NFS share and symlinked them (was explained in another topic with a samba share, i think that makes no difference). so everything should be fine, but on the second/new raspberry-xbian client after adding a media source.... nothing happens. no scanning, no database buildup, no connection... nothing. i can access the files via the filebrowser but nothing more.... any advice? greets, Phil. |

RE: mysqldb with 2 xbian clients
installed xbian on another SD-Card and did the setup step by step... now it seems to work, let's see if the first update will update the database of both pi-clients...
