DVBT/Smart of course OUT is multichannel (signals created by TV itself)- I told it. But IN makes no sense. Please read rules and do a search before you post! . FAQs . How to post log file? . So the only way to get at least DD 5.1 was to go PC>HDMI>TV than sound from TV>SPDIF>ONKYO. Unfortunately DTS doesn't work this way but the person can live without and also if the movie plays DTS the XBMC(this is on PC not RPi!!!) send the sound as DD so still multichannel ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

(beside to help you with specific setup ) ) TV has no more than 2 repros, tv has no coverage of room to produce 5.1, 7.1 + signal even if you plase 20 repros inside it. if you have home teatro system, you have AVR. to put even the smallest signal convertor from HDMI to TOS is waste. not ?
