Audio playing with multiple xbians?
Hi all,
Now that I have my pi working nicely I have ordered another one for a different room. This got me thinking.....would it be possible to have both pi's playing the same audio in two rooms without 'echo' issues. I know that the sonos system uses time stamping to ensure that each speaker plays at the correct time and in phase to eliminate this. But could it be done on a multi-pi setup? I note that adding a real time clock to the pi is not too expensive (about €12) so would this help and how would I go about trying this out? Just a thought..... Skywatch This looks promising too....! http://forum.stmlabs.com/showthread.php?tid=1052 Skywatch |

Re: Audio playing with multiple xbians?
im sure there was an discussion on XBMC forum about simultaneous playback of video or audio on more RPi's.
Maybe you can try search it and see if you find any info ~~~~>>>Please always follow rules and read before you post<<<~~~~ |

I'll take a look!
Thanks Rikardo, I never even thought to look there, I guess I try and concentrate on Xbian compatible as it's what I like to use :-) Skywatch |
