Backup prior to scratch installation
I a lot of error in my syslog, CurlyMo told me that my SD card is corrupting (again): http://forum.xbian.org/thread-612.html
I also have a cronjob that does a backup of the entire SD card every day, so I tried to dd all the SD image on my card, but I still get the same errors. I checked the SD card with F3 (http://oss.digirati.com.br/f3/) and it's not damaged. I now decided to install xbian from scratch, but I'd like to have back all the programs I downloaded, how can I have a list of the programs installed on my setup? what do I have to copy in order to restore the installation I have now? |

RE: Backup prior to scratch installation
Not quite the solution to your question, but would this help?
http://forum.xbian.org/thread-421.html?highlight=corrupt If you can correct the corrupting then you could use the backup function if you still wanted. Hope this helps |
