Okay, it is doing A LOT of stuff right now ... we will see, what comes out.

It does not say something like 1.0 RC3,
but instead Xbian 20141231 ... or so.

After the procedure I rebooted and then
even could do apt-get clean; apt-get update;
apt-get upgrade and it did update 15 more
things ... and all my settings/addons are
still there. Lovely.
