As there is no Debian package yet, would it be possible for you to build one? A simple compiling explanation is here - especially point 2:

If it's possible for you, I would post some more information about the needed files and steps. I was able to install it successfully today on my Pi and I think many users would be happy about such handy download tool.

If someone is willing to make a working deb of the package (with my help) they are free to do so, because i don't have time for it and the all-in-one download package isn't going to include this.
