Hi,

I wanted to try btnx to add all the mouse buttons to my Xbian installs. Only trouble is it won't install.... I get....

Terminal

xbian@cinema2film ~ $ sudo apt-get install btnx
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package btnx

I guess it is something to do with the repo config?

Any ideas out there? - Anyone got this installed and working?
Looks like it's been removed Here
@Skywatch
Seems you have to build your binaries from here

Good exercise for you Big Grin
Thanks for the info and yes, it will be a learning exercise for me. Maybe this week I will get a chance to sit and work it out.... I'll let you know how I get on! Wink
Just built both binaries for RPi2. Seems not to be very difficult for you. Good exercise Shy
@Skywatch Curious what it does and what you intend to do with it?.

I thought there was an add-on that did something similar.

Also curious why it is no longer in the repository. Lack of development? or lack of support?
Probably because of this:

"btnx and btnx-config was originally written by Olli Salonen. However he has ceased development of the code and one of the repositories is lost"
