Yes, I am having this exact issue it only started with the 12.2 release for me.

CEC is working for remote control but when I turn the power on the receiver off (leaving the PI / XBMC on) within 3 seconds the receiver turns itself back on.

This makes it impossible to use CEC with the current release. I either have to unplug the HDMI or power off the PI.

If I select shutdown from XBMC and turn off the receiver it will stay off but then the PI needs to be power cycled to access

I have a onkyo receiver and a Panasonic projector both support CEC using the receiver remote codes to operate CEC with a harmony 880.

I've got Xbian alpha 5 with xbmc 12.1 and libcec 2.1.

Settings are all defaults and the CEC works out of the box.

I've got an avr connected to the xbian machine and to get it working I must switch input on the AVR...

The main problem is that the raspberry turns on the tv and avr automatically also when i power off Tv and AVR.

I've changed also flags with hdmi_ignore_cec but the only result is that the tv doesn't turn on automagically but also the CEC with my LG remote doesn't work...

I also disabled hdmi control on my avReceiver with the only results that the av receiver didn't turn on after the turn off....

So I narrowed the issue on communication between TV and raspberry...

Also updated firmware on Tv but with no results...

I did also it stops the receiver from coming on during the PI boot but it will still wake the receiver when it is shut off.
can any of you try make a backup if your SD or use a spare one, install fresh Alpha5 than do the update to latest nightly from our git and report back?
Before you insert freshly flashed SD into RPi and turned ON first time, make sure all your HDMI devices in setup chain are ON (TV,AVR,etc)!
-thx-

I'm about to try now the nightly build...

20 minutes...

EDIT fatal error git/info/refs not found

EDIT2 neverming typo in string

same result :-(

Additionally now it loses the CEC signal between menus and I'm forced to power off the TV
try run the cec-config from SSH an do the settings by following onscreen messages
done configuration with cec-config but with no results...

same behaviour
well, now I have no idea tbh ???
the best way would be if you post your issue on Pulse-eight Git and see what guys says
