I was able to fix the issue with the following

git clone https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/libcec.git

then I ran cec-config

HDMI port number: 1
Connected to HDMI device: 5
Physical address: 1100
Use the TV's language setting: yes
Make the adapter the active source when starting XBMC: no
Power on the TV when starting XBMC: no
Power off devices when stopping XBMC: yes
Put devices in standby mode when activating screensaver: no
Put this PC in standby mode when the TV is switched off: no
Send an inactive source message when stopping XBMC: no

then I copied the config to

/home/xbian/.xbmc/userdata/peripheral_data

avr now stays off and cec works for control !!
I'm doing the build process right now on the rpi but it's very looooong Big Grin

It's downloading almost 1 GigaByte of dependencies...

About the post processing, I should only copy contents of /project/usr/local in /usr/local like the xbmc nightly build?
I solved the shutdown issue but there's also another thing that isn't working right...

Wher I shutdow the TV with Raspberry turned on, the next time I turn on the TV all cec functionality is gone...

Only switching off and on the tv cec restart functionality...
