Different Wifi Issue
I've seen and read through a lot of the threads and tried about everything i could and I need some help please.

I've programmed and sold several Pi's but this wifi is kicking my ass and just cost me $$$!!!

I'm not sure of the exact name of the dongle but the cipset is correct for the Pi and I've had them working on both Rasbmc and Xbian before this latest Xbian update.

MY PROBLEM is in multiple locations the wifi signal is too weak to connect, only have 1 red star in xbian. I've tried through the shell in settings>xbian and through Xbian config under programs (i know they are the same)

Tried to ssh into and change through the core, was a WEP password and I set as such, password was correct (I connected my phone to wifi no problem, full strength), DHCP (even tried setting static with no go)

tried "ifup wlan0" commands

tried changing sbin files with correct ssid and key with no luck connecting.

Sometimes i get Error [(-10)] (Which i though to be something wrong with the network encrypton. But i came home and tried on my router (apple) with the same issue, so i've narrowed it down to a problem with either the xbian software or my wifi dongle (i'm about to try a different dongle, but if anyone has any suggestions or need any files from me i'd be happy to share and hear advice) Thanks.

RE: Different Wifi Issue

I posted in the beta, kept it a bit shorter, a lot going on in there.

RE: Different Wifi Issue
Unfortunately there is a LOT going on in Beta 1. All issues need to be condensed into one thread otherwise it's impossible to sort the wheat from the chaff. Or at least Alpha from Beta
