device descriptor read/64, error -32
Does anyone know what this error means? Apart from knackered :-)

Code:
device descriptor read/64, error -32

It's started occuring on my 4 port hub. I've tried with power and without.

Xbian Beta 1.1.

Pastebin: Dmesg

Well after some scratching and googling - it is as expected a hardware error. Damn you cheap hubs. Where's that hardware link again! Seems to be related to over voltage.

Will chuck the PS on a scope and see what is what.

3.9.8+

(Straight from Xbian Beta 1.1 installer)

Interestingly - or just a weird occurance - if I write the img with Win32diskimager, I don't get the error. Same kernel 3.9.8+

I asked because I believe your running smack dab into one of the USB issues being worked on, do you have a machine you could do an rpi-update on?

It is definitely the hub - and believe or not it's the one from "Modmypi" - as if I switch to a Belkin Hub, the error no longer occurs.

Good information, folks with Modmypi swear by it.

Hmmmmm Undecided Problem seems to have gone away (maybe it's heat related or the PS is a bit dicky).

Will monitor but it doesn't look to be software related.
