Booting Raspberry B+ under RC 3
Update: I have found a debug file of xbmc which may help
xbmc.pdf (Size: 49.35 KB / Downloads: 13) Hello all, I´m new to this all, not native speaking, and owner of the B+ Modell. Before updating from RC2 to RC3, I already had the boot-problem. But now it´s getting worse. After start, I see the homescreen of Xbmc. But after a while (1min), the screen of Xbmc is gone, and a black screen with textmessage appears. I get the following message: Quote:Xbian GNU/Linux 7 xbian tty1I do have the program Win SCP with integrated "Putty" on my PC, but poor knowledge in Terminal-programming. I just wanted to use Xbian-for xbmc on my raspberry. So what I found out, was to restart from putty with "sudo reboot". But after restart, xbian behalfs the same, and even worse it´s going in an endless loop of rebooting. Sometimes, if I get the right timing to start Xbian within Xbmc, Xbmc is running stable over the whole day, till I shut down and all starts again on booting the next day. Somebody could help? Update: Sorry, I forgot to use the template. Here it is: Quote:SoftwareUpdate Status said: Up to date |

Disabling Samba doesn´t help.
Tried it, nothin changed. Now, rasp sometimes stopps with endless reboot, saying the now shorter message: Quote:Xbian GNU/Linux 7 xbian tty1 This is my new xbmc-log-file from today: Quote:12:10:30 T:3038015488 NOTICE: special://profile/ is mapped to: special://masterprofile/ |

'had the same problem, described in:
http://forum.xbian.org/thread-2473-page-2.html disable CEC in xbian-config could solve this problem. |
