Give forum users wiki access
Can you guys give all forum users access to the wiki? I don't know if there is a mediawiki bridge available for mybb. If not, i would suggest to use dokuwiki. I made a bridge between dokuwiki and mybb myself so all users that have a forum account can also login on the wiki and edit. This will improve the wiki articles a lot.
If's the same construction i use for pilight and with good experiences. I'm willing to volunteer to do the swap. pilight - modular domotica solution

RE: Give forum users wiki access
I've set up a new wiki here: http://wiki.xbian.org/doku.php
All users with a forum account can edit that wiki and contribute. That will make it a lot easier for the community to provide input. Are there volunteers that can help transfer all old wiki pages to the new wiki? I already did the installation topics. pilight - modular domotica solution

That's not essentially part of Open Source. But because we want to be REALLY Open Source, we already did:

RE: Give forum users wiki access
As i responded to one of the Samba threads with almost a whole Samba howto for XBian, I thought I'll drop same on the wiki.
But I get a permissions error and everything currently on the wiki is "read only" for me. How can I contribute to that wiki ? http://wiki.xbian.org/doku.php/share_xbian Ps. I am logged in with forum username/pass. There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't |

I noticed below one being empty and having no history: http://wiki.xbian.org/doku.php/share_xbian Shouldnt we remove this one until we have some actual content for it? RE: Give forum users wiki access
As I was struggling to get me USB WiFi dongles up and running for a new Pi2 that I got recently, I created a new category on the wiki called "Peripherals" and added "USB WiFi dongles":
