Hi, I have a small problem, my configuration works with lirc and my Samsung remote but only the second time that I put XBMC so I need to do that:
Turn on Raspberry Pi, XBMC is on but my remote doesn't work.
from terminal:
$ sudo service xbmc stop
$ sudo service xbmc start
Then when I restart XBMC my remote works perfect.
I think that the problem is that XBMC should wait and when the module is on, then start. But It's only a theory and I don't know why I have this problem.
I hope that you can help me, thank you guys.
it seems that with $ apt-get update && apt-get upgrade . The XBMC package is not update, so I updated it and now LIRC works perfectly.

I'm pretty sure that there were some issues with lirc, documented in the Gotham Thread You could also try the "new" image documented towards the end of the thread.
