Kodi not starting/exiting correctly. - IriDium - 12th May, 2016 07:57 PM Fresh install of latest imx6 image. (12-05-2016) no upgrades available. On startup, the normal startup screens appear but "sometimes" there is a blank screen - as if the resolution probe is failing On shutdown, shutdown progress bar gets about half way and hangs. Occurs from Kodi quit menu or issuing sudo poweroff ("sudo shutdown -h now" seems to work!!. (Reboot seems to work fine). <cntl> <alt> <del> will reboot at this point. ssh is not possible but a ping shows the system is still up. Is it possible to remove all the splash screens to get a better picture of what is going on? Will removing "splash" from boot.scr.txt and then "mks" do the job? RE: Kodi not starting/exiting correctly. - IriDium - 12th May, 2016 10:19 PM Removing splash and setting resolution to 1920x1080@50 (Instead of 60) in boot.scr.txt seems to have resolved the situation. Shutdown is successful on /etc/rc0.d/K06halt Set to solved |
