Certainly looks like you have installed a copy of Raspbian as xbian/raspberry always works. Also a XBIAN banner appears and not a Debian one.
Download a fresh image file from xbian.org. To upgrade you have two options - I prefer the latter. 1) From xbian-config - option 5 "Check for system updates" 2) From XBMC Programs -> Xbian-config->Updates Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.
