If I didn't read your post - and I am a lot more polite - I wouldn't have known what you were talking about.
As far as I am concerned, and nothing contrary to that, shows that there is a problem with the SMB mounting (via the GUI at least), then I can't see that it is an issue in this release. If you would care to install the Hotfix following precisely the instructions at the top, then we are all working on common ground and any errors you may receive can be checked with log files and messages.
