How do you test a new version?

But as mk01 introduced the BTRFS filesystem, you can create different snapshots on your sd card and switch between them. See the beta2 thread, I think there were some according commands explained in the first posts.

It was the beta2 I was thinking of upgrading to from 1.1 as from the thread, it's should clear up most of the issues I seem to have had. Creating an image of the SD card is a good plan though. I hadn't thought about that.
