Stuck on Starting XBMC

Unfortunately, you have arrived at a time when there are a number of issues waiting to be resolved.

1) The installer can cause issues, which is why we recommend using win32diskimager - which is not very useful if you only have a Mac. The reboot is the solution to rid the FS resize error.

2) At the moment I wouldn't recommend upgrading - there seems to be a number of issues.

If you do want to upgrade, I succeeded by...
a) edit /etc/apt/sources.list and remove the # from the staging line.
b) sudo apt-get clean
c) sudo apt-get update
d) sudo xbian-config -> 5 -> 3: Select all. Check the install log. If errors, keep repeating the process until there are no longer any errors.

Not the cleanest method but seems to work.
