Weatherunderground is not the first data provider XBMC is(was) using who took drastic actions to get rid of XBMC (DDoS  ) attacks.obviously XBMC clients running world wide generating considerably HUGE traffic&load on other's providers infrastructure. It was the case with Discogs too. in theory it can happen anytime to imdb/tvdb scrappers too
