Maybe it's time to update https://www.xbian.org/getxbian/ and http://www.xbian.org/getting-started/. The sites still list the installer as the preferred installation method and the Raspi 3 as the latest supported Raspberry Pi version. My first impression was that Xbian is no longer maintained... but then I found XBian_2025.06.28_arm64_rpi5.img.gz and it worked like a charm!
