Subtitles addon not working

Actually I don't see the entry Subtitles within the XBMX Repo.

System>Settings>Add-ons>Get Add-ons>XBMC.org Add-ons>Subtitles>XBMC Subtitles

The problem being is that my menue doesn't show the entry subtitles within the xbmc repo!

are you sure you navigate the right direction (double checking)
I just double checked on few machines (PC's, RPi's) and all have the subs addon in official repository available.
Try to force refresh XBMC.org Add-ons repository

How do I force the refresh?

just navigate to your repo(do not click/enter into) and evoke contextual menu (C from keyboard, Option from remote (CEC) or RMC on mouse)
than you would see the option to do so
