Wifi shows as DOWN
Hey guys... Got a wifi adapter off of ebay, plug it in and XBian SEES the adapter, but when I go to configure it under Xbian/System/Network, It shows my eth0 as UP and connected, when I switch to the wlan0 it shows status DOWN, Ssid as Not connected, Mode as DHCP
I try loading the wifi manager from PROGRAMS but it gives a script failed error... Any suggestions or am I just doing something wrong? |

RE: Wifi shows as DOWN
What happens if you exit xbian and do 'ifconfig wlan0 up' ?
What is the output of 'iwconfig wlan0'? Then try 'xbian-config' and try setting it up from there. Skywatch |

THANKS!!!! Although ifconfig didnt give any results (got bash error), xbian-config allowed me to set up the wireless... weird that you need to do that through shell/terminal and the GUI wont let you, but, hey... so far it works
