Not mounting my four HDD
Hi everybody,
I have an issue in the last update of Xbian beta mounting my four HDD from a Sharkoon Quattro. I always can mount only one from the docking station however I could not mount the rest at the same time I have to power off the previous HDD and the connect the other one. In Xbian alpha 4 I was able to mount and unmount the four HDD at the same time. Is it possible to fix the problem? Thanks |

Please read before you post - a link is in my signature.
Are you mounting these drives yourself? or letting Xbian mount them for you? If the latter, can you check if dbus is running? Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.

RE: Not mounting my four HDD
Go - > Programs -> Xbian-Config -> Services -> DBus -> Status <enter> <start>
or ssh xbian-config -> services or ssh #sudo start dbus Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.

RE: Not mounting my four HDD
I started dbus but anything has changed.
It is Xbian the one which mounted them. |

RE: Not mounting my four HDD
Xbian will normally mount all USB drives. However if dbus is not running at start, then the drives will not be mounted.
Do a search on the forum about dbus, there is a fix for this problem, which should solve your problem Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.

RE: Not mounting my four HDD
It may show autostart but does it show running?
If not, you have to manually start it, and then search for the fix. Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.
