Live TV ends in login console
Sometimes when i go to Live TV i come to the Login Menu from the console.
Here are the logs, maybe someone can take a look to it.

I can not reproduce it to 100% sometimes its ok, sometimes not

I have a feeling it's the add-on you are using not Xbian

i acivated the debug level, restarted the pi and reproduced the problem, here are the full logs.
Sadly i can not fix the problem anymore - yesterday i solved it with a restart but now the restart dont help anymore.

The only addons i activated was a wol plugin which i deactived now, also i use the Mediaportal PVR Addon which i need for Live TV but thats all on addons which use.

When i want to start Live Tv i come from 1 sec to the other to the console (dont know how you call this area exactly - its a black screen with the following text:
Xbian GNU/Linux 7 xbian ttyl
xbian login:
)

Sry i dont know what you mean with "dmesg"

Xbian has crashed to the console.

dmesg is a command: dmesg

So to get the output run xbian@xbian ~ $dmesg > dmesg.txt and post this file as before.

Ok nothing strange there.

So it's definiely an Addon/PVR issue.

xbmc.log shows certain ffmpeg errors.

You could try installing ffmpeg and see if that improves things. sudo apt-get install ffmpeg.
Then change streaming method from TSreader to FFmpeg.
Also check your MPEG license is correct. sudo vcgencmd codec_enabled MPG2

Apart from that I have no idea. Best to wait and see if anyone else has MediaPortal or post a question on their forum.

XBMC crashed with Segv (Segmentation Fault). This will be python add on bug, maybe blocking IO operation running. hard to guess.

I'm not sure if I should start a new thread, but I have the same issue.

Although in my case, it (quit to terminal) happens mainly when I start any video add-on.

This is random, and the same add-on works well after I reboot.

Segmentation Fault.

generally speaking a program crashed most probably due to a internal bug or hardware failure.
