Modify Name of SMB Server?
Hi guys and girls, just a small question:
I wanted to change the SMB server name and have modified /etc/samba/smb.conf to adjust the server string value. But I had no success - the SMB server gets still listed as XBIAN. Isn't smb.conf the right file to do so in XBian? Do I miss anything? Thanks. My setup: Software: XBian version: 1.0RC3 | XBMC version: 13.2 (Gotham) | Overclock settings: High Hardware: RPi model: B | Power: DUB-H7 | SD: Tanscend Class 10 | Network: Wireless |

RE: Modify Name of SMB Server?
Did you try changing the hostname altogether in xbian-config?
