Works like a charm this far, Curlymo.

One thing I did notice was the OC @ 840MHz, while the default speed is actually 900 Wink

Also, no kodi.log or xbmc.log at the normal location.

A little off topic, but what is the new max clock speed for this SoC ?

:) :)

RE: RPi 2 Quad core.
pi2 consumes more power than B model - all my powered USB hubs cannot juice Pi2 and external USB 2,5 drive together as with old B Sad

In internal tests they were able to reach 1100-1200 for the ARM, so the same as the Pi 1, but 4 cores instead of just 1.
(The more threads you put on a single core, the worse it will perform.)

Have Fun Smile

Hi,

after compiling Tvheadend on the PI2 the DVB driver look's have an issue when I try scaning a transponder.

2015-02-06 21:40:18.898 [ NOTICE] START: HTS Tvheadend version 3.9.2479~g6bb5e0f started, running as PID:2828 UID:1000 GID:1000, CWD:/home/xbian CNF:/home/xbian/.hts/tvheadend

It's look like a charm on my BananaPi or Raspbian on PI(B).

So it's still in dev, I'm agree.

Where could I report bug for XBIAN PI 2 devel ?

It is working for me quite well.

One small thing when you enter the xbian settings, the menu on the left is blank, sill usable just have to click on each blank menu item to find setting (i needed to add MPEG2 license)

Connected to my TVheadend server (NAS) fine and is a lot more snappier for watching live TV. Big Grin

My RPi 2 went down, showing a kernel panic message on the screen. Never happend on RPi B. Is there any way I can get some kind of log from somewhere and report it?

RE: RPi 2 Quad core.
Bearing in mind my old Pi was an early 256MB model B, I always found that to be a bit laggy, so the speed and responsiveness of the pi2 with the fresh image was awesome.

Now, I don't know if the backup of the old pi also changed the default kernel settings as it was just sitting on 'starting xbmc' for maybe 20 mins before I gave up and reimaged with win32imager.. I'm going to go along on the basis that it's best to start from scratch again.

I too noticed the xbian setup menus are blank, not too much of a biggy.

If I notice anything else I'll post accordingly

I was getting the little rainbow colored square in the corner, turns out the power adapter i was using was not good enough.

Picked up this beast and its powering my xbian pi 2 and my original pi with volumio without skipping a beat.

I believe that black fields in XBian config is due to latest changes in Confluence Skin code of Kodi
Is this right @belese ?

@rikardo1979, yes. It's already preliminary fixed in the latest xbian-package-config-xbmc. It at least now works again, but needs the eye of an expert @belese Smile
