Thanks for the tip!

When I first got my pi, I tried openelec, raspbmc and xbian, and decided xbian was best, but now my loyalties are seriously waning!

You're welcome ! I have a Rpi B running 4.2.1 slightly overclocked, with media and mysql on NAS and it runs satisfcactory. However, wanted to upgrade to Rpi2 but XBMC(kodi) cannot be downgraded from Openelec images unfortunately, and since Rpi2 is quite new, the oldest Openelec for it already contains kodi 14.

I must admit, I find Kodi really shitty up to now. It feels
way slower and much more instable. Too many hang-ups,
freezes, ... etc.

I even thought about getting a stronger box (in the same
price range), but I would want to have .265 support, too,
and that is never the case, it seems.

Well, I am hoping for updates to make the Pi strong and
stable again. Smile

Odroid C1 mate Wink

No XBian but it indeed supports h.265, I love my C1

Really? What OS are you using or which are there
in general?

It can run several. OpenELEC (no h265), Debian, Lubuntu (I run this), Android, NetBSD (untested)..etc

It can do 1080p 60fps H.265 without so much as a stutter, of course there is the benefit of being able to close Kodi and use Xwindows as well.
