Import Video DB from 0.8.3 to 1.0 Alpha 3
Hi all,
I have a problem, perhaps you can help. I made a backup of the .xbmc folder of the version 8.3 and an export of the video db. But I cannot import the old data in the new version 1 alpha 3. After copying the old folder /root/.xbmc to /home/xbmc/.xbmc I set all files to user and group xbian und the file permissions to 777, but the video db is empty. If I try to import the exported db the import is hanging. I choose the folder, hit OK and nothing. XBian freeze. What can be the problem? Any Idea? |

This is probably not possible because of the changes in XBMC.

I'd start by reading this;
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Import-export_library I'd move files around into the right place using FTP rather than directly in xbmc, it's quicker |
