Aha, i saw, you didn't have an ir receiver. Yes it's possible.

Quick other question: my CPU usage is ~ 96% idle. Is this normal?

as i mentioned before, this is out of topic

but

you have to have old version of XBian as we have removed CPU information from GUI few builds back Wink

So you should update to the latest Alpha4 and than you may also do XBMC update.
For the CPU usage use command "top" {exclude quotes} from terminal or in SSH

I downloaded the XBian installer, used it with my SD Card and upgraded to Frodo 12 through forum instructions.

"Compilation date" says 30 January..

The patch does nothing more then hiding the progress bar, you not really necessary.

As already said, the cec bug is out of our reach because it due to a bug in libcec and the firmware. If you want to use the Harmony, you need an IR receiver. So did you already connect one?
