QNAP NAS, configured as per http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=NFS#QNAP As stated, have 2 Apple TV 2's that work fine with it for last 6 months - streaming all my 270+ HD Movies, and 2,000+ TV episodes work fine (all MKV/h264 format, a mixture of stereo, 5.1 dolby, DTS etc), all 400+ albums (all mp3) work fine via the ATV's. sources.xml file (xbmc) copied onto the Pi and it can see the sources, but trying to play an MKV generated the error above. |

RE: NFS_SERVICE failed
All sussed out and working now there was a hardware issue with the powerline adapter I was using. Replaced that, updated to 12.1, advancedsettings.xml updated with MySQL info, sources.xml copied in so it mirrors my ATV2's.
Everything is working like a dream |
