No worries Wink

I have tried continue from

Code:
cd wiringPi
./build

and all went smooth Big Grin up to the

Code:
code:
sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/audiophonics/Raspberry-pwr-management/master/softreboot.sh

But not sure how to proceed from there as I understand we need to change and adapt all next steps to XBian as the original procedure is written for Volumio

yes I know Smile we only have web remote at ip_address:8080

So this would not be possible to implement than? I mean this power switch and the OLED screen?
Cos if not than I just wasted couple of hours over 2 days trying to make it working and I may end up installing on another RPi under Volumio

RE: AUDIOPHONICS I-Sabre V3 DAC ES9023 TCXO
I looked a little bit around Volumio.

Found this on github, doesn't make me optimistic that this will ever work [1] on XBian you want to have.

Quote:IMPORTANT NOTE: Volumio is designed to be an highly integrated system. This means that the WebUi is optimized to work along with the custom made Volumio system, and therefore it needs to run in a very tightly controlled environment. IT WON'T WORK on standard Raspbian or other non-volumio OSes. If you want to know what kind of customizations we're using, take a look at the Volumio Builder

I think you would save a lot of time putting it on a separate RPi

[1] without spending hours an hours for investigating, testing, making & drinking coffee, etc etc ...

RE: AUDIOPHONICS I-Sabre V3 DAC ES9023 TCXO
I have sent them and email today as this is pretty unfinished product and clearly not what is advertised!

They send me a lot of other bits in the package with this kit which has no use at all where other were missing! Like there are some screws which has no use, Micro USB lead which has no use, power jack female which has no use as there is no hole to fit it, etc... But than there are missing cables to wire the power button and OLED which I had to supply myself.

So basically I paid for something what can not be really used. This kit is simply not functional as it is presented on website. Advertise give a false impression of the functionality of this product.

I am really disappointed and really not happy with this product and will not certainly recommend anyone to buy this.
There seems to be to many issues with this product and all the information on their website is misleading.

So I have requested RMA and full refund today as I have not received what I bought!

Stay away guys

yeah, if I knew I would buy just a DAC and no case and other crap Smile
The DAC is perfect, works like a charm and the sound is terrific from Naim Nait XS 2 to Spendor D7s
