As far as I can see - this only seems to affect Win7 and Win8 machines
Something is different for them than XP - which seems to work flawlessly - unless anyone can say different. Can someone on Win7/8 check the log to see if there is anything in there. Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.

I've had this problem often using the OS X installer, always seems to hang at 97%. Cancelling and re-downloading eventually gets there but it's pretty frustrating.

This is just wierd.
I started this thread in Dec 2013. Today is 12 Aug 2014. I'm trying to download XBIAN afresh using the latest version of Windows installer (on Win 7). And it's the nightmare all over again. My download got stuck at 5% and then again at 99% (crying). Looks like nothing's changed over the months :-( |

@roycejp Very strange. I've been using the new installer since it came out about a month ago and have had no problems installing on RPi and CB (I'm on XP)
Are you running it as administrator? Is this 32 or 64bit? Have you tried win32diskimager and use it to flash the SD card? Please read before you post How to post a log file If you liked my help, click on "Thanks" to show your appreciation.
