@deeej, @ThePumisher
You have to run sudo apt-get update first before you will see new kernel package, or, in xbian-config GUI, select "Check for system upgrades" first before new available packages are listed Look at my output from my devel sys (Click to View) |

RE: Kodi 17.6, no more wifi?
Also installing right now. But i run the updates from inside Kodi.
After i check for systemupdate i got 2 new. One is the config-shell and the other is the kernel 65. I´ve got a "Serious error" notification. But it seems that it´s still doing the updating. Also tried 65 now and made everything up to date. No issues. Rebooted/shutdown a couple off times and wlan0 is still alive I see there are new stuff under "Backup" with dialy snapshots and also some other options. "Auto system image" what does that do? Also, how do i turn off the "Home backup reminder" that pops up all the time. It´s a bit annoying @Nachteule i´m guessing you are one of the xbian devs? If so, thank you for your great job. Also thank you for your great support! |

That creates an image from your running system (either directly to sd-card, or into imagefile), so if your sd-card is broken, you can flash this image to new sd-card directly Quote:Also, how do i turn off the "Home backup reminder" that pops up all the time. Roy Teheran posted that reverting to 4.9.60 solves his WLAN issue Kernel 4.8.65 also works fine for me; wlan0 gets DHCP offers from router and gets connected! Thanks and well done. Saw that the thread is already set to SOLVED, but anyway you have my confirmation... |
