Oh my, I've been away too long and have missed this.

Hi,
Now there are XBian_2024.02.14_arm64_rpi5.img.gz and XBian_2024.02.14_rpi5.img.gz - what difference is there? Later one is not 64 bit? Or just naming difference?

RE: RasPi 5 announced!
arm64 tagged images are 64-bit versions, so XBian_2024.02.14_arm64_rpi5.img.gz for example work on Raspberry Pi 3-5 and include the Kodi v21.
The others are 32-bit versions, for example XBian_2024.02.14_rpi5.img.gz, and work on Raspberry Pi 2-5. However, the Kodi v20 contained therein does not run on the Raspberry Pi 5, as I unfortunately found out yesterday.
So soon the rpi5 tagged 32-bit version will also contain Kodi v21 and the rpi4 image will be maintained for a while longer

RE: RasPi 5 announced!
Hi,

I think you should try to considering that Kodi v21+ is expected to enter beta soon and Xbian is already close to Debian Bookworm, it is likely that a version of Xbian built for Raspberry Pi 5 could be available early next year. Keep an eye on updates from both projects for more precise timelines.

Thanks
