Change back to the default XBian repo.
Hhhm, looking at the current sources.list, it already fixed itself during one of the upgrades:
Code:
deb http://xbian.brantje.com stable main

@all
thanks for cooperation and lot of testing you all performed.
just last info:
- sources.list is updated automatically by latest xbian-update and should now read
- setup for automatic updates was changed not to accept development repo anymore - stable repo stays accepted
- beside stable repo, there are now two more: devel and staging. devel has same rules as this one beta2 testing had. so as soon as change happens in any package, it goes to devel. limited testing provided usually (only) by developer itself. as soon as code goes more mature (and considered generally stable), package will move to staging. packages in staging should be fine enough to get tested by wide public without special technical knowledge. after ~ 2weeks in staging without new critical bugs package moves to stable. if anyone wants to jump on devel or staging, you can do it anytime by ADDING (not changing existing stable repo) one of this lines:
1. just wrong link, corrected
2. because there is nothing. devel was moved to stable and staging is new
3. of course previous /devel is symlink to /, otherwise the beta2 test installations would be not able to access repo anymore
4. I have not changed the keys to sign repo files. used are still the ones stored on server

1.
In this link you can see the InRelease, Package, etc file. Those files
should only be in the http://xbian.brantje.com/dists/ folder.
2. The Package files in the dists/devel and dists/staging folders are empty.
3. The root devel folder is a symlink to itself.
4. I've you have used my latest update.sh code, you don't need to change the gpg keys.

Hi,
I get the following error when I try to execute xbian-config:
/usr/local/sbin/xbian-config: l?nea 200: /run/lock/xbian-config.gui: No existe el fichero o el directorio
I have a clean installation of beta2 and I read in previous pages that the issue is solved but I have not clear how to fix.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for the gorgeous new Beta 2 release. Very stable and I noticed huge performance improvements for my setup compared to Beta 1. You are my heroes

Updating the latest packages made my smb shares + mountpoint go away. Tried it several times and each time they were gone. When rolling back the apt snapshot, the XBian didn't boot anymore.

What command did you use to roll back?

I've pin pointed xbian-update (1.0.2-9a) as the bugged package by installing each package one by one.
I've manually installed:
xbian-update (1.0.2-6c)
xbian-package-config-xbmc (1.1.4-2a)
And there are no issues with the samba shares, however, the slowness of the system is back. Hmm. filesystem is also mounted as readonly

Hi
I'm testing this new release for a while and there are some things not working:
1. photo + nfs server: I have a nas shared via NFS and retrieval of pictures many in raw is almost impossible or very slow, with random crash.
2:music+nfs server i can't play any file like flac ogg, only some mp3

Do you have a quick and easy way to get to this state?
What basis did you use: Beta1.1 or the beta2 image.
Thanks

Beta 1 image a long while ago
Code:
aptitude search xbian -F "%c %p %d %v"
