Great work Beta 2 is really fast Smile I had problems updating from Beta 1.1 so i installed a clean Beta 1.0 and the update worked as expacted.

A few problems that i found while playing with the new Beta:
1. Xbian config wont start. There is a popup "initialise ... kernel version ..." but nothing happens after the loading process. (SSH config works fine)
2. I tried to add a SMB share to the movie path. It found all of the present network devices so i selected one of them. It freezes after the "OK" on the selected device.
I have the version Beta 1 hotfix 1.2 but when i do the update an error ocurr:

A error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://ivka57.dyndns-ip.com wheezy Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

W: Failed to fetch http://ivka57.dyndns-ip.com/dists/wheezy/Release

W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Best regards

@pacoflaco Your /etc/apt/sources.list is way out of date - looks like early Beta2 testing. Should look like this:
Terminal
deb http://mirrordirector.raspbian.org/raspbian/ wheezy main contrib non-free rp
i
deb http://xbian.brantje.com stable main

As you're not upgrading, just grab the new image file in the first post and use that.
I just installed beta 2 with the new image. It works fine, but when I run apt-get upgrade it says:

dpkg: error: reading package info file '/var/lib/dpkg/available': Input/output error
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)

How can I fix it?
1) Are you running as root or sudo?
2) Do you get the same error if you use ssh xbian-config or xbmc xbian-config?
just a quick heads-up. the new beta (beta 2) does not add default gateway route for wlan0 for me. maybe other users are also experiencing this problem.
1) the same error running with sudo and as root
2) always the same error with ssh xbian-config and xbmc xbian-config.
What is the content of the file "/var/lib/dpkg/available"?
It's a file 463957 lines long, I don't think it's a good idea to copy it here Big Grin
Hi,
Beta2 is awesome, got two question how to remove : swap partition :
/dev/mmcblk0p3 ?

I got swap on usb so dont need on sdcard.

There is nothing about it in fstab

and how to move or create zram on/to usb ?
@Biasio95, so it's not a corrupted file.

Can you try:
Code:
dpkg --clear-avail
apt-get update
Awesome release. Upgraded. Instructions were right on target. No issues at all.
The XBian config is messed up (again)
